"This place has been life-saving! I have gone to them for a massage when I could barely walk and it made the world of difference. I also have gone to see Blair Miller for prenatal therapy to help get my body ready for birth and it has been life changing! She is amazing!!! Definitely recommend Round Rock Health & Wellness!"- A.H. / Google / Jan 28, 2018
"I’ve never been a fan of visiting the chiropractor due to poor prior experiences, so when my wife convinced me to visit Dr. Miller for the first time I was expecting more of the same. What I wasn’t expecting was how friendly the receptionist was with myself and my family. Also, Dr. Miller explained everything she was doing and by the time i was finished, I felt like I was two inches taller by the time I left and felt better than I have in a long time. I would highly recommend Dr. Miller to anyone!"- M.H. / Google / Jan 08, 2018
"Great! Saw doctor Blair and really liked it."- R.L. / Google / Jan 01, 2018
About the Treatments
Treatments vary depending on the patient and type of injury. Sports can lead to many different injuries, which is why our chiropractors always provide a thorough exam and consultation with their patients before any treatment is given. During this time your doctor can answer any questions you may have and address all your concerns to design a treatment plan that is unique to you.
The most common technique used during treatment is the High Velocity Low Amplitude Thrust (HVLA). This is a quick motion performed by the chiropractor that applies pressure to the area of adjustment. When doctors execute the HVLA, it restores alignment to the bones and joints. This is most commonly performed around the neck area, back, and hip to help bring the body in proper alighment.
Another common treatment used is the Active Release Technique (ART). Similar to the HVLA, ART is a direct contact treatment performed by the chiropractor. It’s a combination of various movements that massage the soft tissue, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
What to Expect
After your consultation, we can set up your first appointment at your earliest convenience. During the session, the Chiropractor will verbally and physically guide you through the exercises. Communication is key during treatment and patients are encouraged to talk openly about their condition and areas of discomfort. Our goal is to perform techniques safely and with care. Once a technique like HVLA or ART is conducted, patients typically feel instant relief.
Whether you are training for your next marathon, Ironman Triathlon, game or dance performance, we can help your body be performance ready!
